Thursday night already, when last Thursday night seem just hours ago. How does that make sense? No idea, really.
So, just a quick update on what’s been up so far since my last blog post. Saturday, the AC mats & I were cordially invited to Adam’s home for his open house, which, important to note, is conveniently located at Bukit Timah. I swear I’d want to live in Bukit Timah one day. Or even better, Six Avenue :O

VASANTHAM STAR. By now I assume all Singaporeans should have watched the highly comical Vasantham Star commercial on TV AT LEAST ONCE. In this case, by ‘Vasantham Star’, we mean someone.. Errr. Undesirable, in ACJC.
Afterwards, I met up with Leon, Sinlih and some of my friends/classmates from Fairfield. Caught Phobia2 at Cathay. Highly unsatisfying movie IMO, the first sequel was so much better than the second one. I mean, I understand most horror shows now are losing their ‘oomph’ cause it’s always the same. Suspense music, and out of nowhere a ghost shocks you out of your wits. After awhile it gets predictable, so what does Phobia2 do? They try to make a fool out of us by making a horror movie turn comedy. But credit to Phobia2, it was remotely funny in a way. Still, I expected a horror show not a slapstick comedy half-fucked movie.
Rushed home afterwards to catch Liverpool match which they duly won emphatically 6-1 (not so impressed with the 2-0 loss to Violas though).
Anyway! I’ve been blog-hopping a lot these past 2 days (been taking a break from my social life and spending good time at home), and realise many people have been switching to Tumblr lately. And I daresay Tumblr blogs are looking good. I’ve been there done that with almost all blog domains, my first one of course being Blogspot/Blogger. Then I moved on to experiment with livejournal and xanga (both of which I found awfully difficult to navigate) before settling down with wordpress, which by far is the most satisfying in terms of usability and satisfaction. But I’m getting bored. So how? Stick to wp or should I join the Tumblr bandwagon?!
Anyway, should look to get my body clock to it’s best possible state from today onwards. Gonna be difficult, but I have have have HAVE to, since I won’t be having the benefit of driving to school next term YET. I’m already breaking the ‘honarable thing to do’ by skipping many many school events due to my reluctance to take the public transport to school. I swear, if I have to put up to this next year, I’m gonna cab to school everyday. Even if it burns my wallet.
P/S: Been listening to BSB all-time greatest hits. BSB=BACKSTREET BOYS NO I’M NOT KIDDING YOU
PP/S: Not going for October Orientation camp tomorrow. Too lazy.
PPP/S: Meeting up with Fairfield mates instead. Hello again, social life
Latinas they get krazzzzyyy!

Desperately wanted to catch BEPs at Fort Canning 2 days ago! But no work = less cash = no $$ for tickets. Thanks to RAYA for make me 400$ richer, even for a little while more till I start getting my allowance when school starts.
Anyways, went for Fuel’s F1 party on Thursday at Suntec UNDERWORLD. Tickets were selling for 75$ at the door but Maple (hardcore clubber heh heh) managed to get free entry for all of us! I guess because of the 75$ cover charge, there were naturally less just-turned-18s, and the crowd mostly consisted of 25-30 year olds. And mostly ang mohs too. The whole area was way too large imo (imagine one whole convention centre as the dance floor). Would be great if the place was filled, but half of the room was filled so the atmosphere was subdued. Anyways the beginning was okay, cause the DJ was spinning Trance and Electro music which is awfully difficult to groove to. But after we went in the second time it got much better cause the guy was somewhat dancing on stage. Something like Mambo at Zouk, so we ended up imitating the DJ HAHAHA. In the end it turned out to be quite fun. But had to leave early at 2.30 or something, cause everyone was quite sad after Maple’s camera spoil

I haven’t been able to hear RnB songs in a while. I’m starting to miss hearing Lady Gaga and Flo Rida in Phuture. It’s fun when you get to sing along to the songs you know cause it adds up to the whole party atmosphere. You don’t get that with house music. But the whole damn problem with Phuture is that it’s so freaking packed every single day!
Turning nocturnal.

Holidays are bound to cause some sort of distortion to everybody’s body clock. Well, at least for me, that seems to be happening. My days have been starting at 4pm and ending at 5am consistently for the past 2 weeks. Or maybe that’s just me, cause I’m not working like everyone else I know. Why do people have to find jobs whilst still schooling? Even if it’s during the holidays, I mean, I dunno.
My principle is that I live only once, and that means being 18 only once. And 18 (to me, at least), is a very important age. It’s the age where one enjoys without thinking and acting on pure impulse is a law. Regretting those actions afterward, a force of nature. Hahaha.
Anyway, several updates, since I realise I haven’t blogged since what, 2 weeks ago? First and most forthrightly, I failed my TP test
That means I still CAN’T drive now, I’ll have to wait awhile more till I can officially throw away my EZ-link card. Although I’m not rushing, it’s still nice that I’d be able to drive to school, and save up to 2 hours of travel time everyday. It’s okay though, it’s ice cold in the long run.
Another exciting piece of news is that, my mom is considering getting another car, a Volvo. If that materialises, then I wanna get the Volvo (cause it’s a coupe model), and my mom’ll drive the Honda. EXCITED! But that’s IF it happens, I sure hope it does though!
Anyway, I can’t believe one whole month of fasting has passed. It’s been so quick. Fasting month has always had a special feeling (something that I can’t quite put my finger on). Somehow, I totally detest fasting, but when it all ends and Hari Raya looms ahead, I feel sad that fasting month is over. It always triggers sort of, nostalgic, sad and happy, raw types of feelings all at once. Something I can’t really explain, it just comes along when you’ve been part of it. For EIGHTEEN YEARS. HAHAHA.
So my wait for McDelivery has ended. It’s time to drown my face in a host of delicacies in the form of McSpicy, McNuggets, Fillet O’Fish and fries. And savour the last few hours of my last sahur for this year. Till next time!
Beat It!

HOT OR WHAT??

GIRL OF MY EFFIN’ DREAMS.

Some things are just WRONG.

Madonna, anyone? Classic example of something (or someone) just gone.. WRONG. She’s the perfect example of not growing old graciously. Anyone seen her latest video yet?
I wonder, 30 years from now, if I’ll be a George Clooney or a Madonna. I hope it’s the former. I’d rather be in the cast for Ocean’s Eleven, Twelve and Thirteen than a music video that looks like a amateur porno video.
Anyway, speaking of showbiz, everyone probably knows that I’m a huge fan of comic books that go onto the silver screen (Spiderman, X-men etc etc). Something magical and imaginary about these films intrigue me more than stuff like The Proposal or something. So my favourite (out of all the amazing superheroes) is probably IRONMAN. Supa-awesome!

IRONMAN
Ironman is probably the COOLEST superhero around. I’d do anything for a suit like that. And the red and gold is soo classic of Ironman.
I don’t have much to blog about now. Can you tell that I’m struggling to form words in this post? Hahaha! I’ll probably blog again next time I have something interesting to report. As of now, check out this girl-band. Hot like fcuk! (watch in HD better)
I’ve been spending all my time, just..

Life’s been pretty mundane since last week. Hasn’t been doing anything of significant importance since last week (then again, it’s only 2 days into this week). Still, take away the joys of having new games for the PS3 and I don’t really have much to talk about. For the benefit of people with similar patterns of life lately, I just bought 2 new games for my PS3, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, and Call of Duty: World at War! Okay, again, not significant.
My older sister just left for Aussieland last Friday, and as much as I hate to admit it, I’m sort of missing her horribly. I think it’s got to do with the fact that I’m on holiday with nothing much to do, and also because she’s my sole companion when it comes to soldiering the horrors of ghost stories in the form of Mistery Jam 12 on 89.7fm. But she’s gonna be back end November, and I don’t imagine that to be too long.
To my absolute horror now, my secondary 2 classmate seems to have found long lost photos of me. Photos FIT FOR THE BIN, thrown into the pits of hell. Gosh, I can’t believe how un-fly I was.

This was in secondary 3, to be exact, but the fellas were my secondary 2 classmates. Hahaha Bryan was (still) a councillor here. And I can’t believe how short my hair was, I swear, NEVER AGAIN. Humiliation at it’s best! Anyway I’m guessing this photo resurfaced in view of teacher’s day. Speaking of which, I feel bad now, for not making time to visit my secondary school teachers yesterday. But I don’t see any sense in visiting Fairfield, I virtually have no business there anymore. And anyway, it’s not like Fairfield is TP, I don’t have to travel 121338432834 hours to get there, it’s like right next door. I can go to Fairfield any day I want. But I’m not denying the fact that Fairfield was possibly the best period of time in my life, SO FAR. TP’s getting there, I don’t imagine it to take more than next semester to bypass it
Anyway, I am absolutely pissed off now, because I stayed up for Hannah Montana today and now, they’re showing fucking The Replacements on Disney Channel instead. FUMING MAD. Disney has denied me the right to see my girlfriend Miley Cyrus. And speaking of Miley Cyrus, I think she’s got the most gorgeous eyes ever possible on a human being. Not being biased, just being frank
Now that Hannah Montana ain’t happening, I guess I don’t have much to look forward to this night. Hence, I should be off to bed. Meeting my JC friends tomorrow cause their Prelims’ve just ended! EXCITED, I’ll blog about it when I’ve time (and when I don’t feel lazy
)
Toodles
Xoxo.
Requiem for a dream.

What now? What’s supposed to be a mental getaway is proving to be merely a momentary high. Surely this can’t be what I saw. And not what I wanted. Once so captivating, now so capturing. It consumes me from inside, taunts and hypnotizes.

I listen to the notes to Requiem for a Dream, for a sense of closure. To bring me somewhere I feel no pain. Confusion. Even an illumination. I yearn for an escape from this liquid wasteland. I sense something beautiful, but it’s all deceiving. I don’t see it, neither do feel it.
Now I wait for another day. For the liquid that dries my throat to tame the butterflies. And calm my scuffled nerves. Of compulsion. Of confusion. Of deliberation.
For now, I’m hanging on dry hope, that the PS3 will help.
Situation, Aggravation

Introca exam in a little more than 6 days. And I’m only done covering half the book! Shitz. Studying Introca has made a revelation dawn on me. And that is that my memory skills suck. I can’t remember details. Urgh, I prefer Principles of Aeronautical Science so much more than Introca. Understanding and concept-based subjects are always welcomed over memory work. The only plus point is that I don’t have to touch Introca again after this semester. Unless, of course, I fail the module.
Exams end on the 26th. At least I can take comfort over that fact. Early papers = less time to study but longer holidays! And I am absolutely positively looking forward to my holidays. I’m already looking forward to de-stressing partying, not to mention going out/catching up with old friends
Class chalet on the 12-14th of October. Hopefully by then I’ve already got my driver’s licence. If I pass the practical test on the first try, I’ll have it by 11th next month! But that’s all theoretical, of course.
Some photos from ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) president’s visit to TP!

P901 Representatives

Walking for rice!

I'm a rocker m/
ICAO President’s visit was quite coolioz. ICAO president isn’t just some half-fucked unimportant guy, he’s the guy that practically controls the whole sky. So it was kind of a big deal that he came. Other aviation industry players like Lufthansa GM, Changi Airport GM, Qatar Airways SG CEO, Tiger Airways SG CEO, Changi’s Air Traffic Controller GM, and the list goes on. I swear, Paul Yap has a gazzilion contacts. I guess that’s what you get from an ex-government-sponsored Harvard scholar. And all the contacts aren’t doing any harm to my internship chances either. Ideally, I think I’d like to be an airline representative for internship, like a few of my seniors now. Too lazy to explain what an airline rep does now. Maybe next time.
And now, I just had an ephipany. I realise how much I’m enjoying myself in AMS. And in TP. Take away the hassles of travelling to Tampines everyday, and everything else is perfect. The friends, fun and to a large extent, the girls (heh). I guess the travelling is kind of justified. And even travelling won’t be a problem when I get my licence (Mom isn’t gonna drive anymore, so the car’s virtually mine). Back to my ephipany. I guess everything is working out right for me now. Whatever bits of regret I’ve had about leaving JC has just been virtually erased. I FEEL LIKE A FREE MAN. Haha. I <3 TP and AMS WHEEE!
Okay now that I just had a sudden realisation, I feel super motivated to study. And that’s exactly what I’m gonna do. Until 8pm, of course, that’s when the BPL finally starts again. Till next time, you know you love me. Xoxo
